THE BIGGEST LOSER

Hallelujah! I'm so excited....

It's about time....Adam and I are gonna stop all the whining and do something. We are matching up with our buddies, Jim & Jill, and having a 3 month BIGGEST LOSER competition.....We are making some serious lifestyle changes and are going to do our best to get healthy. On a personal note, you know Adam and I have been working on Baby #2, well, I'm thinking that I'll feel a lot better if I start from a healthy place, so we'll delay that just a little bit(unless God has a different plan :))....So, anyway, it's time to work hard and change some bad habits! Oooh, and at the end of the deal, there will be a sweet reward for the winning team (we're still in negotiations on that one)... So, wish us luck...and the Scripps too, of course! We will all be some fiiiiiiiine specimens come June. .I'll try to remember to take a before picture of Adam and me.. .lol ...

PS Thank you to Megan Sterk, whose hard work and discipline, sparked something in me and made me want to buckle down. You look fantastic Megan!

PPS Another thank you to Jill, for taking pictures of me and my behind (blech)....If that wasn't inspiration, I don't know what was!

HELLOOOOOO!!!!

Sorry to those of you who have actually checked my blog! I'm a horrible blogger! I don't take pictures and I forget to post anything!

January was a rather exhausting month...but now things are back to normal and really good.

I'm so in love with my husband and my son.

Evan is getting so big! He sings constantly, talks even more and is so much fun! He makes us laugh every day! He loves trains, tractors, anything on wheels and loves to draw. Daddy is trying to teach him how to catch right now.....not really interested. He'd rather throw the ball. He also coaches Daddy along with a "throw, throw, catch, catch" as Daddy recently learned to juggle. LOL

We've had snow, snow, snow this winter. It feels like it will never end and I'm so ready to just get outside and play! Come on, Spring!

Anyway, I'll try to be better, but I make no guarantees.... I hope all is well with the 2 of you who still bother to stop by to see if I've posted anything! Have a great day!

5 Random Facts About Me . . . Hmmmmmm. . . . some of these I know I've used before. . .


1. The inside of my left ear itches when I drink hot chocolate.. . .down deep where you can't scratch and it doesn't matter how you pull on your ear or wiggle your nose. . . nothing helps!

EVAN'S 2ND BIRTHDAY!!!

Oh My Goodness! We had such a fun weekend. The Scripps came over yesterday and stayed over night for Evan's party and it was so good to see all of them! Then, lots of family was over to celebrate Evan's 2nd Birthday today. . . . .2 years ago today I was. . . well. . . OUCHHHH. . and then thanking God for the absolute best thing that had ever happened to me. I am definitely doing that again tonight. . . my boy is in bed after lots of time with Grandma and Papa and Great Grammy Belle and Auntie J and Aunt Robin and Uncle Brad and Grandma and Grandpa J. . . and he just had the best day. I'm so thankful for my happy, healthy family. Adam is a fantastic Daddy and Evan is my constant joy. I just look at him and think, how can people not believe in God? Look at what He does! Anyway, I'm having a mushy moment. Great weekend. Great friends. Great family. Keep my Williamston-ite's in your prayers as they suffered HORRIBLE tornado damage that even made the national news this week . . .


Williamston, MI tornado leaves 3 dead
Atlanta, GA 10/19/2007 09:04 PM GMT (FINDITT)

A severe tornado hit the town of Williamston, Michigan on Thursday leaving at least three people dead. National Weather Service officials said the storm was a ES2 class tornado with winds that reached 150 miles per hour.
Two bodies were recovered from a pond this morning. Police say the bodies were identified as that of Duane Bentley and Susan Bentley. The couple, who were both in their 50s, were spending their first night in a new house when the tornado ripped the home off it’s foundation and blew it into a nearby pond.

Neighboring towns suffered severe storms and another death was confirmed in Kalkaska County. The tornados, strong winds, and oversized hail overturned vehicles and ripped apart homes.

“It looks like the biggest damage will be in that Williamston area,” said National Weather Service meteorologist David Beachler.
