I'm STILL here!

Things are good!! So busy! Still no internet! Me working full-time (really liking it, even though i miss my boy . . he doesn't miss me, by the way!!). We're all adjusting well and pretty happy. . .happier when we have some freaking internet. . .great grammy belle is in the hospital, so we're hoping she gets out soon. . . anyway. . . that's my mini update. . . . hope everyone is happy and healthy! missing you all! smelly kelly out.

not only are there some super cute pics of my boy, but lots of fabulous pics in general! I should have internet of my own on thurs and i can do a huge update of the last week or so!

well. . . still no tv or internet at the johnson household. . .i'm at my in-laws stealing their internet right now. . . adam started his new job tuesday. his brain is absolutely full from taking in so much new information. . .so much to learn, but i know he'll be brilliant once he gets into his groove. . . that would be a funny bank manager, groovin' in his office. . .yeah, i'm a little weird. . . out of sorts. . missing my "normal" routine, but looking forward to the new one too. . i've gotten to go for lots of walks this week and that has been fun. i have my 2nd interview in cadillac this evening, but anyway. . just feeling a little off my game. . . evan is adjusting well, i think. he wants to be outside CONSTANTLY which is good for both of us. he enjoys seeing his grandma and grandpa johnson every day, but don't worry, mom and dad . . he kisses his picture of his grandma o. and papa every day and we talk about you all the time too.

sage called last night to talk to me and tell me she loved me. . . and that was it . . my first official breakdown of the move. . . it was the sweetest thing and i could barely talk after that. jill got on the phone and was trying to ask about my day and stuff and i couldn't even take a breath to talk. . . sobbed the rest of the night. . poor adam was like, do you want to move back? noooooo, i just need to get adjusted here and used to things. . . i know this move was a good decision for our family, so things will start feeling "normal" soon. keep in touch, ya'll! i'll update you soon on whether or not i'll be a working woman again!

Cat on a hot tin roof

Well, maybe. . . I really don't know where the cat is. . when I said smooth move, I forgot to say, except we lost the cat. We couldn't find her anywhere, inside or out. . . the doors were open a lot and well. . . we lost the cat. . Jill, if you want to go to my house and look inside to see if she is actually in there, and has come out to look for us, I would make it worth your while! So, the cat's out of the bag. . . or is she in one? What do you call a cat that eats lemons? A sour puss!! Ok, ok, no more cat jokes. . . I really do hope we can find the poor thing.. . . .

Smooth Move . . . .

Well folks . . . so far, so good. . . we made the move up to LeRoy and the house is really great! No internet at home yet, but I'm at the in-law's now and just wanted to update everyone. . . .I'll get some pictures going when we're more settled. . . I don't think I've worked so hard in a long time. . moving is rough!! Thankfully, we had good helpers and beautiful weather. . Thank you to everyone who helped with the move. . including the helpers in the packing. . .:) I have a job interview in Cadillac Thursday, so I'll let you know how that goes! I'm a little scared about possibly working full-time after nearly 2 years home with my boy! Lots of changes. . . but God is good and things are all working out!

a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to my momma and to my jill for coming over today to help me tackle the packing of the kitchen. .a daunting task, not soon to be completed on my own, these two powered through it like it was nothing! thank you, girls! for 2 people who aren't thrilled about me moving, you sure put your backs into it!!!!!


also, jill and i had a fun girls night last night. . she came over, we sickened ourselves with ice cream and watched a real chick flick. . it was a dixie chicks documentary. . . and talked and talked. . . love me some jill. . . .i'm gonna have some serious withdrawals, i think.
