Suspense

So, I'm sorry, to those of you who have been looking for an update! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

We had an ultrasound last night and as far as we can tell, everything looked good. The baby even waved a little arm or leg nub at us...lol....Anyway, we heard the heartbeat and the heartrate was 170, which she said is strong....The problem is, the U/S tech is not supposed to tell you anything, so we don't really know what she saw. I am very relieved about seeing and HEARING the babe...we just don't know if the cramping and spotting is nothing or if there is a hematoma (which i had with evan) or something else....

So, hopefully, I'll hear from my doctor today and find out that all is well. I will update again when I hear! Sooooo, again, thank you everybody for the extra prayers! You guys are the best. :)

i don't like it.....they keep telling me it's normal.....i repeat...i don't like it.......i wish i was an ultrasound tech and I would scan myself daily....and I wouldn't charge myself either. :)

Have a happy weekend, ya'll.....they really are telling me not to panic....I just can't help it...All will be fine! spotty preggo out.

RAZZASQUE WEEKEND!!

Evan and Sagey play so well together....I love to listen to their giggles and little conversations!
I got to bond with Emerson, who is such a sweet, cuddly little man...(with 4 teeth coming in..OUCH!)
Evan was SOOOO excited to see the whole Scripps family....he wouldn't stop hugging Sage. He was also quite romantic with Jill, showing her the moon, then sneaking a kiss on the lips! Ha!
See my yard full of people watching the parade?? So fun!
and below, sagey was helping more little helpless evan get his shoes on every time he needed them! they are so sweet together!
Well, what a weekend we had!!! Pheeeeeew!!! We are exhausted! It was LeRoy's Razzasque Days this last weekend. My mom and dad came up and so did the Jim, Jill & the kids! It all begins Friday with some kid's activities...Evan won a prize in the kid's parade (I'll have to get those pics from Mary). He was a cowboy (the theme was the 1800's)...My sweet boss let me take off in the middle of the day so I could walk with him in the parade! He was so sweet. Both Grandmas got him ready and were there to take care of him all day while I worked!

Adam stayed busy that day as an "official" and he was in charge of running the Fear Factor game they had for the kids....I hear it went over great, but was very messy!! Judging from the bowls piled in my sink when I got home, I would say that is true!

Saturday started with a parade and Johnson's & friends filling up our front yard! It was the first year we've lived in this house, so it was pretty exciting to have everyone there. I wasn't moving too fast Saturday morning, but I think everyone had fun and enjoyed the parade! Adam drove the Citizen's Bank car in the parade (after he played an 8:00 a.m. softball game), worked all day at Chamber of Commerce booth or the Poker Tournament or whatever else he was running around doing! He was sooooo busy...we're hoping next year, more people help out and he can have a little more free time to enjoy. Oooh, and a big thank you to my parents and Jim, who helped out with some of the events! My parents packed up and left Saturday evening.

On Sunday, the Scripps left pretty early and Adam played softball ALL DAY! I was EXHAUSTED and trying to force Evan to take a nap all day, to no avail. All in all, a very fun weekend, but definitely exhausting.....You'll see that I look like poo in the wonderful pics, so generously taken by Jill Scripps of Fireflies Photography! :) (there are more on her website www.jillscripps.typepad.com under 'Recent Stuff')

Anyway, thanks to everyone who came up! Love yous! That's all for now! kj out.

7 WEEKS

That's right, loyal reader!!!!!!! If all goes well this time, Evan is going to be a BIG BROTHER!

We are 7 weeks pregnant today, so it is still early! We did see the doctor yesterday and had an ultrasound of the little peanut and even a flutter of "vascular activity"....we'll go ahead and call that a heartbeat! We are so excited and hopeful and have been so blessed to be able to get pregnant just a few months after the miscarriage. So, we welcome all prayers for a smooth pregnancy and healthy little one on or around February 25, 2009!

Woo-hoooooo!!!! Go Team Johnson!!!!

Preggo out.

JET-SETTER

Everything is ______ in TEXAS!!! Nope, not bigger.....HOTTER!!! I just got back from a fabulous trip to see Gretchen, Curtis, Noah & the latest addtion....HADLEY ELISE! I left in the middle of the night on Thursday (Fri morning), drove to Flint, caught a flight to Chicago, waited there for 3.5 hours and hopped my flight to Houston, where Gretch-Cat was waiting for me! We had a fabulous weekend, just hanging out and catching up and I finally got a chance to meet Hadley! I also got some time to get to know Noah! One of the reasons I hate that we live so far away is that I feel like I don't know her kiddos, but no more! Noah is my new buddy! I can't wait for the day they move back to Midland (CURTIS!!) and Evan and Noah can be best buds! It was 95 down there on Saturday and oh my goodness! That was a "mild" day...it was so hot and humid, I was sweating through my pants! Sorry, but it's true! Gretch and I went for a walk and I nearly died....I LOVE to go for walks, but I went straight from the sidewalk, opened the gate to their pool and dove in....clothes and all! I flew back yesterday, exhausted and happy! It was a lovely weekend and a nice exercise in independence for a not usually very brave me! Thank you, Adam, for giving me the weekend off without complaint! Love you! A rare pic of Gretch and I together, along with the cute kiddos! That's their backyard...gorgeous!
Here's Gretch...what a beauty...and what makes you want to smack her is that she's just as pretty on the inside...awwwwwww.....i know, but it's true!
Here is the sweetest little spit up queen you'll ever meet...(the picture above, not below!!)
Noah took this pic! We played monsters together and made our monster tracks in some sand!

My Husband Loves Me

Soooo, Adam and I had our 3 year Anniversary in April. We tried to get tickets for Dave Matthews Band, who is touring this summer and we were going to have a belated Anniversary trip....well, I was online with my finger on the button, but still managed to not get through in time to get tickets! I knew they would sell out fast, but this was CRAZY!

Anyway, Adam has been teasing me a lot lately, saying, I have a surprise for you........but wouldn't tell me anything. And, unlike him I like surprises, so I would just say ok, then don't tell me and it was driving him crazy. Well, Wednesday we went out for his birthday dinner....yes 31!! Oooh, I should have posted about that! Naughty wife! Anyway, I digress......
At dinner he was just grinning away, and wanted to tell me so bad, and so he finally caved in and we are going to NOBLESVILLE, IN to see:

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND and opening for him is INGRID MICHAELSON who I also really love..... AND we are camping just a few miles away Friday and Saturday night...the concert is Saturday.....I SO LOVE ALL OF THIS!

He went on ebay and found a really good deal on some really good seats and since we both have wanted to see DMB forever, he went for it! This is a splurge I am totally okay with!!!

So anyway, it's July 26th....he arranged with my work for me to have the day off Fri to travel down and arranged for Evan to stay with my parents...he has it all worked out....my prince....

SO FLIPPING EXCITED!!!! Thank you, Adam!
